Alisha Jucevic is a photojournalist and commercial photographer based in Los Angeles. She is inspired by the way photography fosters understanding between strangers and her work emphasizes human connection, care and resilience.
After working for almost six years at community newspapers, Jucevic started her own business in 2020 in Portland, Oregon. Prior to becoming independent, she was a staff photojournalist at The Columbian, documenting communities throughout southwest Washington. She also worked on staff at The Dubois County Herald in Indiana and at The Register-Guard in Oregon.
Based in Los Angeles and can also work locally in Portland, Oregon.
